Backed by the North: Printing for a Yukon Olympic Dream

Back to blog

Every once in a while, a project comes through our shop that feels like it's about a lot more than ink on fabric.
Recently, we had the opportunity to print shirts and tote bags for the Yukon World Cup Fund, an initiative supporting three Yukon athletes as they chase their dream of competing at the 2026 Winter Olympics.

Behind every race bib and finish line photo are countless hours of training, travel, and sacrifice. For Yukon skiers Sonjaa Schmidt, Sasha Masson, and Derek Deuling, reaching the world stage means spending much of the year away from home, training, competing, and covering the significant costs that come with international racing.

What makes this story special is how deeply rooted it is in the Yukon community. The Yukon World Cup Fund was created to help bridge the financial gap for these athletes while giving Yukoners a chance to be part of the journey. Through community partnerships, local fundraising, and merchandise designed right here in the territory, supporters can help send these athletes to World Cups and Olympic.
